Courtney has completed a Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She is now working as a Certified Nurse Midwife in partnership with Ben Doke, MD to offer holistic birth services to the women of Midland, Odessa, and beyond. Courtney also has experience as a Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Lactation Counselor. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and has been a Registered Nurse since 2012. Courtney has received lactation counselor training through The Healthy Children's Center for Breastfeeding and has completed the Texas DSHS Trained Breastfeeding Educator program. She is passionate about promoting the health benefits of normal physiological childbirth. Courtney is originally from Enid, Oklahoma and currently lives in Midland with her husband and two adorable children. Recently Courtney opened The Birth Center of Midland which offers excellent prenatal care and out of hospital birth options!
